In this music video, we see the artiste, Jeshi in Shinjuku City, Tokyo. He get's into a scuffle with some locals and ends up leaving the city with his crew for the coastal suburbs.
Jeshi’s lyrical work already creates a rich sense of place in London, but the challenge was to apply that essence to Tokyo. The video aims to capture an aesthetic that embraces urban grit and suburban ennui, offering a perspective of Japan that aligns with their lived experience but differs from the more commonly portrayed picturesque alternatives in films.
The goal of the music video is to be cinematic and convey a complete narrative arc within a short run-time, leaving elements open to interpretation.
