Warringah Freeway Upgrade - 100 tonne Girder Installation

TfNSW and CPBDTIJV commissioned LUCID EDGE to capture the installation of a 100-tonne girder for this major Milestone on the Warringah Freeway Project. We treated the Girder as the main character in this film, and we followed its journey from delivery to installation. This was a major milestone in the project, and we needed to demonstrate the complexities behind the installation of a 100-tonne Steel Girder. We knew using a drone was the best option to give the audience a true understanding of the size, weight and swing span of this major piece of infrastructure.
