Cinesite
Cinesite was a lead vendor for the Witcher’s third season, delivering 200 of some of the most challenging visual effects shots. These included the terrifying Aeschna creature which attacks Geralt and Ciri on a chain ferry to Aretuza, the Ring of Fire and spectacular destruction of Aretuza at the season’s climax.
From the brightly daylit Aeschna attack, dripping water from its sudden leap from the sea, to the complex FX for the falling Ring, Cinesite’s work made some of the most exhilarating sequences possible, building tension for the season’s climax.
