The illuminated city, where the night and darkness has been made a thing of the past, is under threat by the darkness that now spreads, triggered by a powerful solar flare. Two young friends, Ash and Miko, end up caught within the chaos as they head for the safety of the light tower which now produces a red glow. Once caught by the darkness, the two of them have to navigate these unfamiliar circumstances while facing their fears, to reach the tower. Only once the tower goes out can the stars be revealed, turning the fear of the dark into pure wonder and curiosity.
