Marionettes (and the virtue of a lotus flower) is a 2D animated short film about a mother and daughter, trapped in a cyclic world of suffering and supplicating for liberation from an unfortunate tradition. It portrays the dominant narrative of women ('marionettes') in a patriarchal society, as the mother questions their existence to the god.
Stuck wthin this cycle, the fate of the marionettes is sealed..
