The legendary Monsterverse battle returns in Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. In this latest instalment of the Godzilla x Kong franchise, the two titans clash in an epic battle against the Star King, who threatens to destroy humanity.
DNEG delivered over 310 shots for the Warner Bros. film, across 20 complex sequences including the opening battle between Godzilla and the giant spider-creature Charybdis, and the journey from Monarch Island through the electrical Vile Vortex and the mystical Veil. As well as dynamic creature animation work to bring the hero characters to life, the DNEG team also delivered multiple complex CG environments ranging from the Monarch organisation’s Pacific Island base to the Iwi Realm within Hollow Earth and the 1200-foot-tall Iwi Crystal Pyramid.
