Building Large-Scale Storyworlds at AEAF
Susan Danta, Head of Animation & Visual Effects at AFTRS in Sydney will be at AEAF on 16 August with her presentation called ‘Building Large-Scale Storyworlds: Mastering Story Development through Collaborative Practice’ on the school’s Master of Arts Screen: Animation.
This course is an individualized, industry-based training program in which animation students are able to focus on high-end digital storytelling skills while working in partnership with producers, screenwriters, cinematographers, production designers, editors, sound designers and musicians to create professional-standard graduate films.
The program has been designed for those who wish to develop cinematic storytelling skills through animation and hybrid live-action and animation productions. Applicants should have experience and/or training in a related discipline such as design, visual arts, media arts, or be already working in the field and wish to transition into larger-scale interdisciplinary team-based productions.
Susan will talk about the course content and what to expect, facilities at AFTRS and where the program can lead students after graduation. Click here, for further course details.
