A young man is sentenced to 274 years in prison and assisted with a life extension experiment. He lives out most of his sentence following a tedious routine of seeing his wife and ingesting the life-lengthening medication. However, things take a turn when the protagonist discovers the loss of his wife and is confronted with the realisation that he will become unfamiliar with the outside world.
