Afloat in her vast mindscape, Maya processes her sense of self before waking in the midst of a silent morning. A crack of morning light shimmers through the blinds, warming the side of her face and pouring into her iris. The sense of warmth being a rare feeling as the monotonous days mostly drown it out. She presses forth, fighting to take the first step of her day, pushing through the viscous mud that clouds her soul to rise from the sheets and begin the monotonous cycle of everyday life. The internal battle spilling out and blurring the line between experience and reality.
