At the heart of Vivid Sydney 2024, Spinifex Group transformed the facade of Museum of Contemporary Art, Australia into the enchanting realm of contemporary Chinese Australian artist Guan Wei. For the first time, Guan Wei’s work is displayed on the exterior of the building through mesmerising light projection, illuminating and bringing to life the profound iconography of this esteemed artist.
Embark on an odyssey through Guan Wei's boundless imagination, traversing from the cosmic expanse to the ocean's depths, and into the bustling rhythms of a Sydney beach scene and into the stars. This transcendent display intricately weaves together the grand and the intimate, the mythical and the less than mundane.
