As part of the exhibition - Apollo; When We Went To The Moon we were asked to create a loop of the last few minutes of the lunar landing of Apollo 11. We were given a very loose brief that requested subtitles. After some research, we decided to recreate instruments from the control panel in the Lunar Module in 3d and animate them as per their behaviour during descent. Due to the work being displayed in Museums we paid particular attention to detail as we needed to be accurate for the client. The onboard computer and other instruments were heavily researched and then modelled in Cinema 4D and composited in After Effects.

The end product is a looping animation with sound.
